On The Bikini Trail With Dani

On The Bikini Trail With Dani

Earlier in January we treated Dani to the ultimate bikini trail in Byron Bay. Dani made us swoon with her gorgeous instagram post featuring our Cala bikini surrounded by beautiful sea trinkets. After being styled at our Byron Bay boutique, the Kombi took her across all our favourite adventure spots and cafes. It was hard to call it a day after too many swims, tasty snacks and unforgettable snapshots. We caught up with Dani for a post holiday chat about the best bits of the getaway...

"Byron Bay, with its many perfect surf breaks, tropical flora and mysterious hinterland, was the most wonderful location for the ultimate bikini trail experience…

The trail started at the Tigerlily store in the bustling and effortlessly fashionable main street. The girls welcomed us with flowers and gorgeous smiles as I found myself a new wardrobe to wear over the weekend. With my fabulous bag full of goodies in hand we checked in to our American Airstream at the Atlantic. Want to sleep inside the most photogenic form of accommodation in Byron Bay? Stay in the Airstream! It makes you feel like a chic hippy; it has the essentials you need when camping, with the glamour of a solid roof and a comfy bed.

In the afternoon we spent some time exploring the streets in Byron Bay’s industrial estate, lined with bohemian artists and surfboard shapers, then retreated to the beach with the warm afternoon sun.

For dinner we ventured to Roadhouse for a night of delicious fresh food and cocktails by candlelight. Roadhouse has a relaxing atmosphere in the evening as the moon shines through the dark palm trees, just divine (we recommend having a Tusk from the cocktail list!).

On Sunday we spent the day with Jase, from The Beach Bus, who drove us all around Byron and its surrounds giving us local knowledge and lots of laughs. We explored everywhere from Cape Byron lighthouse to Scarrabelotti's lookout in the mountains. Jase knows so much about the area, the people, the Kombi’s and was more than generous towards us.For a late lunch we dined at Harvest Café in sweet little Newrybar where we were treated like royalty as we tasted divine fresh, local seafood, sipped on their special (and insanely delicious) piña colada and indulged in delicate desserts.

In the evening we relaxed in the communal library at the Atlantic flicking through surfing images and interior books. Before we checked out the next morning we had just enough time to take out a board and have a quick surf."

We're delighted you had such a wonderful weekend Dani! Tigerlily xx
